Eligibility/Qualification:
- Candidates must hold an internationally recognized Ph.D.-equivalent degree (or evidence of completion in the near future), preferably in physics, materials science, or nanotechnology.
- Proven track record in 2D materials, heterostructures, and moiré systems.
- Experience with tools such as dilution cryostats with optical access, cryogenic scanning near-field microscope, optical quantum twist microscope, and scanning tunneling microscope is a plus.
Job Description:
The selected candidate will work on a cutting-edge project focused on:
- Twisted quantum materials and two-dimensional correlated electron systems.
- Advanced van der Waals materials, moiré quantum matter, superconductivity, and collective phenomena.
- Photodetection, quantum technologies, and strong light-matter interactions.
- Applications such as single-photon detection and devices with advanced functionalities.
The candidate will have access to advanced tools, including dilution cryostats, cryogenic microscopes, and more, to facilitate research and development.
