Job Description:
The responsibilities of the Post Doctoral Fellow include but are not limited to:
- Laboratory Operations Management:
- Oversee daily laboratory operations, ensuring the efficient use of resources, adherence to safety protocols, and a productive work environment.
- Perform instrument maintenance and train the lab users.
- Research and Development:
- Conduct independent research on advanced construction materials acting as carbon sinks.
- Publish results in peer-reviewed journals and contribute to grant writing initiatives with the supervising faculty.
- Supervision and Mentorship:
- Guide undergraduate and graduate research assistants with their projects and lab work.
- Educational Activities:
- Support teaching efforts in undergraduate environmental engineering lab courses.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Lead lab safety training sessions and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Prepare laboratory records, reports, and documentation.
