Eligibility/Qualification
- PhD in Computer Science, Bioinformatics, Biomedical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
- Proven expertise in image analysis, including classical techniques and AI-based approaches.
- Proficiency in Python and experience with tools such as napari, scikit-image, OpenCV, and Pytorch.
- Familiarity with diverse imaging modalities (lightsheet microscopy, CT imaging, ultrasound) is highly desirable.
- Strong programming skills and experience with collaborative software development (e.g., Git).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in interdisciplinary teams.
- Interest in bridging image analysis with mechanistic modeling.
Job Description
- Develop and apply state-of-the-art algorithms for image segmentation, feature extraction, and quantitative analysis.
- Combine classical image processing techniques with modern machine learning approaches.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of image analysis with mechanistic modeling.
- Contribute to software development for reproducible and user-friendly image analysis workflows.
- Write and publish high-impact research articles in peer-reviewed journals.
