- Must hold a doctoral degree obtained no more than 10 years prior to the application deadline (parental leave and temporary work disability are taken into account).
- Open to both Latvian and foreign researchers.
Job Description
As a Post-Doctoral Researcher, you will engage in essential activities including but not limited to:
- Conducting industrial research and knowledge/technology transfer.
- Protecting technology rights related to industrial property created during the research.
- Participating in international mobility opportunities (minimum of 2 months).
- Networking and collaborating with institutions both domestically and internationally.
- Reviewing and participating in thesis committees for bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral theses.
- Preparing other research and innovation projects.
The successful candidate will be expected to work full-time for a duration of up to 36 months, contributing to the objectives of the Latvian Smart Specialisation Strategy.
