Eligibility / Qualification
Essential:
- PhD in Molecular Biomedicine, Biology, Chemistry, Pharmacology, or related Life Sciences field
- Strong background in lipid nanoparticle technology
- Extensive hands-on experience in cellular and molecular biology techniques
- Experience in fluorescent microscopy and automated quantitative image analysis
- Proficiency in English, strong communication skills, team-work attitude, and high motivation
Desirable:
- Prior research experience in lung biology and preclinical mouse models of lung diseases
- Certified participation in courses on animal welfare, regulations, management, and husbandry (according to Decreto Ministeriale del 5 agosto 2021)
Job Description
The selected post-doctoral fellow will:
- Lead ambitious projects developing new LNP formulations for efficient RNA delivery to ATII cells
- Conduct advanced experiments in cellular and molecular biology
- Utilize fluorescent microscopy and image analysis for project evaluation
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of biologists, biotechnologists, and medical researchers
- Contribute to the miRalvergen project’s goal of achieving TRL 6–8 in innovative therapeutic delivery systems
- Prepare research findings for publications and presentations
