Research Area
The focus of the position is on translational research in gait retraining for stroke survivors with a specific emphasis on the implementation of a soft exosuit that is scalable and reproducible.

Eligibility/Qualification
- Required:
- Ph.D. in Physical Therapy, Biomechanics, Biomedical Engineering, Orthotics/Prosthetics, or a related field.
- Experience with gait rehabilitation and/or gait analysis.
- Record of peer-reviewed publications.
- Preferred:
- Experience working with clinical populations.
- Project management experience.
- Proficiency in MATLAB or similar data analysis software.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
Job Description
The selected candidate will work closely with a dynamic team, including faculty from UNO and the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC). Responsibilities include conducting lab-based motion capture studies and home-based data collection utilizing portable motion capture systems. Opportunities for manuscript writing, project management, mentoring, and grant development will be included.
