Eligibility / Qualification

  • Education: PhD or equivalent degree in Chemistry, Materials Engineering, or Physics.
  • Technical Experience:
    • Proven experience in materials synthesis and preparation.
    • Experience in characterization of electrical and mechanical properties of materials.
    • Experience in 3D printing technologies is considered an advantage.
  • Language Proficiency: Excellent command of written and spoken English.

Job Description

The postholder will work on the PRIME project to push sustainability limits in electroconductive materials. Responsibilities include:

  • Extracting nanostructured biopolymers from various biomass sources and analyzing their physico-chemical characteristics.
  • Formulating printable gels and slurries using biopolymer matrices and ceramic nanopowders with tailored rheological properties.
  • Performing mechanical, electrical, and dielectric characterization of 3D-printed and consolidated components using state-of-the-art tools.
  • Collaborating with international research partners and industrial entities across the EU consortium.
