Eligibility / Qualification
- Required:
- PhD in Biology, Biomaterials, Biomedical Engineering, Material Science, or related fields
- Expertise in eukaryotic cell biology, cell culture, and cell-material interactions
- Hands-on experience with microscopy (light, fluorescent, confocal)
- Strong command of English (spoken and written)
- Preferred:
- Bioprinting expertise
- Research experience with bioactive molecules, growth factors, or peptides
- Background in immunomodulatory/antibacterial materials
- International publications and internships
- Supervisory or lab management experience
Job Description
As a Postdoctoral Researcher, you will:
- Design and perform biological tests on scaffolds at different project stages
- Conduct cell seeding, culture, biochemical assays, immunostaining, and imaging
- Analyze and interpret data on scaffold structure–mechanical properties–cell performance relationships
- Contribute to project dissemination via conferences, publications, and reports
- Assist the Principal Investigator in supervising team members and laboratory work
- Collaborate internationally with research partners, including teams in Groningen, The Netherlands
