Eligibility / Qualification

  • Required:
    • PhD in Biology, Biomaterials, Biomedical Engineering, Material Science, or related fields
    • Expertise in eukaryotic cell biology, cell culture, and cell-material interactions
    • Hands-on experience with microscopy (light, fluorescent, confocal)
    • Strong command of English (spoken and written)
  • Preferred:
    • Bioprinting expertise
    • Research experience with bioactive molecules, growth factors, or peptides
    • Background in immunomodulatory/antibacterial materials
    • International publications and internships
    • Supervisory or lab management experience

Job Description

As a Postdoctoral Researcher, you will:

  • Design and perform biological tests on scaffolds at different project stages
  • Conduct cell seeding, culture, biochemical assays, immunostaining, and imaging
  • Analyze and interpret data on scaffold structure–mechanical properties–cell performance relationships
  • Contribute to project dissemination via conferences, publications, and reports
  • Assist the Principal Investigator in supervising team members and laboratory work
  • Collaborate internationally with research partners, including teams in Groningen, The Netherlands
