Job Description:
The successful candidate will:
- Conduct innovative research at the intersection of neurobiology and cancer biology, focusing on neurofibromatosis type 1 (NF1).
- Develop and implement experimental protocols and computational methods for studying cellular interactions in assembloid models of NF1.
- Perform cell culture, microscopy, molecular cell biology, and genomics experiments and analyses.
- Collaborate closely with members of both the Kalebic and Soskic groups, scientific project manager, and HT facilities.
- Maintain accurate documentation of research activities adhering to open science practices.
- Generate publication-quality figures and contribute to scientific manuscripts and public dashboards.
- Present research outcomes at seminars and conferences.
- Mentor and supervise junior scientists.
