Postdoctoral Researcher in Vascular Biology: The Beleford Lab at the University of California Davis is seeking a dedicated postdoctoral scholar to engage in vital research on vascular biology. This role will focus on understanding the molecular signaling changes associated with vascular malformations, particularly in Hereditary Hemorrhagic Telangiectasia (HHT) and other genetic vascular conditions.

Eligibility/Qualification:
- Ph.D. and/or M.D., D.O., or M.B.B.S degree.
- Demonstrated experience in basic molecular and cell biology techniques.
- Preferred additional experience in vascular biology, bioinformatics, and computational biology.
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. by the start date. J-1 visa sponsorship is available for eligible candidates.
Job Description:
- Conduct basic and translational research focused on molecular interactions in vascular biology.
- Investigate the roles of the PTPN14 gene in BMP9, TGFβ, and HIPPO signaling pathways.
- Utilize various laboratory techniques including DNA and protein electrophoresis, PCR, immunohistochemistry, and co-immunoprecipitation.
- Design and execute experiments, monitor current literature, and assist in data collection for grant applications.
- Present findings at scientific conferences and publish in peer-reviewed journals.
- Work independently while contributing to a collaborative lab environment.
