Research Area

The project involves the use of state-of-the-art electron microscopy techniques, including 4D-STEM and scanning electron diffraction (SED), to investigate the hierarchical organization of biopolymer composite materials.

Eligibility/Qualification

  • A PhD degree in Chemistry, Biology, Physics, or related subjects.
  • Familiarity with (S)TEM techniques, particularly 4D-STEM and SED, is advantageous.
  • Experience in scientific programming is a plus.
  • Prior experience in scattering techniques or crystallography will be highly regarded.

Job Description

The successful candidate will focus on:

  • Developing protocols for data collection and analysis.
  • Interpreting and utilizing large datasets to understand the materials’ properties.
  • Collaborating with international research teams to enhance the research impact.
