Research Area:

Eligibility/Qualification:
- A PhD in Mathematics or a related discipline, with expertise in combinatorics, group theory, and/or graph theory.
- Relevant work experience in modelling biological processes and algorithm development or computation is valuable.
- Proven track record of academic research (publications and conference presentations).
Job Description:
- Contribute independently and collaboratively to research under the guidance of grant CIs (Prof. Andrew Francis, Prof. Tanaka, and Dr. Hendriksen).
- Conduct literature reviews, computational investigations, and develop new mathematical results.
- Support research teams in creating scholarly output recognized by peers.
- Participate in conferences and workshops, conduct occasional teaching, and assist in supervising research students.
- Engage in the development of research funding proposals and align with UNSW values and health and safety policies.
