Eligibility/Qualification

  • Recent Ph.D. in Biology, Plant Biology, Molecular Biology, Genetics, Bioengineering, or a related field.
  • Previous laboratory research experience (academic or industry).
  • Proficiency in RNA-seq and proteomics.
  • Experience with confocal imaging.
  • Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Job Description

The selected candidate will:

  • Develop a research project aligned with the goals of an NSF collaborative grant focusing on Polyploidy.
  • Investigate mechanisms through which polyploidy affects the performance of cells and tissues under environmental stress (nutrient limitations, salt stress, genotoxic stress).
  • Collaborate with teams studying various organisms to ensure data comparability.

Employment Details
