Eligibility / Qualification

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Scientific academic degree (e.g., Master’s degree) in Mathematics or a related subject
  • Completed PhD in Mathematics or a closely related field
  • Profound knowledge of probability theory
  • German language skills sufficient for teaching in German, or willingness to acquire them
  • Good command of English (written and spoken)
  • Independent, dedicated, and self-reliant working style
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills

Job Description

The position includes the following responsibilities:

  • Research (65%): Conduct research in stochastic and related areas
  • Teaching (25%): Teaching duties equivalent to 4 hours per week
  • Academic Service (10%): Contribution to academic self-administration
