Research Area:
Development of sustainable gel electrolyte materials using advanced polymer synthesis and self-assembly strategies aimed at enhancing energy storage capabilities.
Location:
Aston University Main Campus, Birmingham, UK.
Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD in Chemistry, Materials Science, Polymer Science, or a closely related field.
- Experience in laboratory-based experimental work, polymer synthesis, and advanced characterization techniques (electron microscopy, rheology, and X-ray scattering).
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration and dissemination of research findings.
Job Description:
The Research Associate will:
- Conduct laboratory-based experimental work focused on polymer synthesis.
- Undertake advanced characterization of materials.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share knowledge and results.
- Participate in regular meetings to discuss progress and ensure data sharing.
This role is likely to qualify for endorsement under the Endorsed Funder route of the Global Talent visa.
