Eligibility/Qualification:

  • PhD in Signal Processing, Telecommunications, Navigation Systems, or Applied Mathematics.
  • Strong background in statistical estimation, array signal processing, or robust estimation.
  • Prior exposure to GNSS, vector antenna modeling, or polarized signal processing is a plus.
  • Proficient in MATLAB or Python; familiarity with GNSS software-defined radio tools (e.g., GNURadio, USRP) is beneficial.
  • Excellent analytical skills, autonomy, and a keen interest in theoretical research and experimental validation.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); French is not mandatory but helpful.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Investigating estimation capabilities of vector sensors for multiple interfering signals.
  • Designing and analyzing robust algorithms for joint direction-of-arrival (DOA) and polarization estimation in the presence of non-Gaussian noise.
  • Developing methods for interference suppression leveraging prior information.
  • Collecting and utilizing real GNSS data, including laboratory experiments with vector antennas.
  • Supporting dissemination of research outcomes, including code publication and dataset curation.

Regular interactions with national and international experts will provide collaborative opportunities, as well as chances to publish in leading journals and present at international conferences.
