Job Description
The successful candidate will collaborate with Dr. Carl Roberts and a multidisciplinary team to investigate the bidirectional relationship between psychological stress and the skin microbiome, including:
- Assessing lifestyle factors and demographics on the stress-skin microbiome relationship.
- Examining the impact of psychological stress on skin microbiome composition.
- Identifying skin microbiome predictors of stress reactivity.
- Evaluating the modulation of the skin microbiome on psychological and physiological stress markers.
The position is available for 3 years and the expected start date is 1 September 2026.
Salary
- Grade 7: ยฃ39,906 per annum
- Grade 6 (if PhD pending): Starting at Spine Point 30, increasing to Grade 7 upon PhD confirmation (Spine Point 31).
