Eligibility/Qualification:
- Essential: PhD (or close to completion) in cell/developmental biology, mitochondrial genetics, or a related field.
- Experience: Specialist research in either:
- Culture and differentiation of human pluripotent stem cells (hPSCs).
- Mitochondrial biology (mtDNA mutations, metabolic profiling).
- Techniques: Experience in qPCR and immunostaining/imaging techniques is essential; flow cytometry and multi-omics approaches are desirable.
- Skills: Excellent written/verbal communication, report writing, and presentation skills.
Job Description:
- Conduct research of international standing related to mitochondrial genetics and embryogenesis.
- Develop and implement relevant research programs; adjust objectives based on findings.
- Publish results in high-quality journals and present at conferences.
- Manage project resources and assist in funding proposals.
- Supervise undergraduate/postgraduate and PhD students.
- Participate in consortium meetings and engage with collaborators.
