About- National Institute of Technology Calicut (NITC) is one of India’s premier national institutions for technical education. This was formerly known as Calicut Regional Engineering College. NITC is a technical institution of national importance set up by an Act of Parliament (Act 29 of 2007). NITC offers academic programs leading to B.Tech., B. Arch., M.Tech., M.Plan., M.C.A., M.Sc., M.B.A., and Ph.D. degrees in the appropriate disciplines. Eligibility-
Essential: PhD in the area of life sciences or having 3 years of research experience after completing M Tech in any of the fields of life sciences with a CGPA of 6.5 or above and GATE, Along with at least 1 research paper published in a reputed peer-reviewed international journal.
Desirable: Knowledge on nanoparticle synthesis and characterization, Animal and microbial cell culture, Microscopic techniques (Fluorescent microscopy, FE-SEM, HR-TEM and Confocal microscopy) and 3D Bioprinting.
