Eligibility/Qualification:

  • Qualifications: A PhD (or near completion) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related subject.
  • Experience:
  • Strong background in mathematical modeling, performance evaluation in communication networks using applied probability, queueing theory, and optimization.
  • High-quality academic research experience.
  • Ability to publish in peer-reviewed journals and present at international conferences.
  • Skills:
  • Team collaboration and independent work capabilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Programming skills (preferred).

Job Description:
The successful candidate will:

  • Conduct research on throughput-optimal entanglement distribution algorithms for quantum networks.
  • Contribute to the development of research objectives and proposals and collaborate with research colleagues.
  • Prepare and present research outputs to diverse audiences and contribute to high-quality publications.
  • Engage in student supervision and foster an inclusive working environment.
