Eligibility/Qualification
- For PhD Candidates: MSc degree in conservation ecology, macroecology, or a related field.
- For Postdoctoral Candidates: PhD degree in a relevant field.
- Strong background in ecological data collection and statistical modeling.
- Familiarity with programming languages (e.g., R, Python).
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
Job Description
The selected candidate will:
- Apply meta-analytical approaches to understand the impact of nature-inclusive agriculture and forestry on biodiversity and ecosystem services.
- Investigate local context dependencies of these effects.
- Utilize meta-analytical models and spatial conservation prioritization models to identify effective restoration areas.
- Contribute 10% of working time to teaching activities in the BSc/MSc Biology programs.
