Research Area
The research will focus on the modeling of microphase separation of living cells, exploring self-assembled morphologies and dynamic properties at the cellular and domain levels.
Eligibility/Qualification
- Educational Requirement: A PhD in Physics, Soft Matter, Biophysics, or Applied Mathematics.
- Skills:
- Strong programming skills and numerical work capabilities.
- Proficiency in English; good communication skills.
- Mastery of symbolic computation tools is a plus.
- Experience: 1 to 4 years relevant experience.
Job Description
As a postdoctoral researcher, you will:
- Develop modeling approaches for cell microphase separation.
- Conduct numerical simulations of a mesoscopic cell-based model.
- Explore self-assembled morphologies and phase diagrams.
- Possibly include analytical approaches and toy models.
The successful candidate will work within the Liquid and Interfaces and Biophysics teams at the Institut Lumière Matière (Lyon, France) and engage with experimentalists and mathematicians in a collaborative research environment.
