RequirementsPreferred Qualifications
– Doctoral degree or equivalent foreign degree– Doctoral degree obtained within the last three years
– Documented expertise in AI/ML approaches (neural networks)– Experience with Cryo EM
– Documented expertise in advanced image analysis– Experience working with lipid nanoparticles
– Experience supervising/co-supervising students– Experience with small angle scattering
– Ability to work independently and in a team– Strong personal skills
– Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
– Awareness of diversity and equal opportunity issues

Job Description

The successful candidate will focus on the following responsibilities:

  • Optimize data collection parameters for automated analysis pipelines.
  • Develop, optimize, and implement AI/ML workflows for enhanced quantitative analysis of lipid nanoparticles.
  • Validate analyses using physicochemical approaches.
  • Collaborate closely with PhD and Postdoc projects in the Barriga Lab and with M. Carroni at the Cryo EM facility SciLifeLab.
  • Participate in teaching, supervision, and collaborative project contributions, including grant writing.
