Eligibility/Qualification
- Solid knowledge of electrical power systems and supply-demand matching
- Experience in modeling techniques for power systems
- Proficiency in programming and simulation (MATLAB, Python, Julia, C/C++)
- Excellent analytical skills with knowledge in machine learning and/or operational research
- Independent, self-motivated, and eager to learn
- Collaborative mindset to link real-world challenges with research questions
Job Description
The candidate will work on modeling, analysis, and simulation of AC-MTDC systems, developing frameworks for optimizing and controlling future transmission networks. Close collaboration opportunities with industrial partners, including TenneT and Swissgrid, are provided.
