Eligibility/Qualification

Requirements

  • A doctoral degree or an equivalent foreign degree (to be completed by the time of the employment decision).
  • Documented expertise in using AI/ML approaches (neural networks).
  • Experience in advanced image analysis (classification, quantitative analysis).
  • Experience in supervising/co-supervising Master’s/PhD students.
  • Experience in multi-disciplinary collaboration and teamwork.
  • Evidence of independent work capability.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Doctoral degree obtained within the last three years.
  • Experience working with Cryo EM and lipid nanoparticles.
  • Experience working with small-angle scattering.
  • Strong communication skills in English.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be involved in:

  • Optimizing data collection parameters for automated analysis pipelines.
  • Developing, optimizing, and implementing AI/ML workflows.
  • Validating analysis through physico-chemical methods.
  • Collaborating with experimental LNP PhD/PostDoc projects in the Barriga Lab.
  • Contributing to teaching, supervision, and collaborative projects/grant writing as needed.
