Summary
The Netherlands Institute of Ecology (NIOO-KNAW) is inviting applications for a fully funded four-year PhD position to investigate the role of belowground processes in the dynamics of mast seeding in European beech (Fagus sylvatica). This research will combine long-term ecological data, soil ecology, and predictive modeling to enhance understanding of forest responses to global change.
