Eligibility/Qualification

  • PhD degree in chemistry, material science, energy, or relevant fields.
  • Strong background in analytical electrochemistry (EIS, SECM).
  • Experience in material characterization (IR, Raman, SEM/EDX).
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English (French not mandatory).
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Knowledge of instrumentation and physics-based modeling is a plus.

Job Description

  • Develop non-destructive methodologies for measuring local reactivity of electrodes and conductivity of membranes at micron to millimeter scales.
  • Conduct quantitative analysis using physics-based modeling.
  • Perform physical characterizations of MEAs pre-assembly and post-mortem using techniques like Raman spectroscopy, SEM/EDX, etc.
  • Collaborate with FEMTO-ST for sample and data exchange.
  • Participate in project meetings, write scientific publications and reports, and supervise internship students.
