Eligibility/Qualification
- PhD degree in chemistry, material science, energy, or relevant fields.
- Strong background in analytical electrochemistry (EIS, SECM).
- Experience in material characterization (IR, Raman, SEM/EDX).
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English (French not mandatory).
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Knowledge of instrumentation and physics-based modeling is a plus.
Job Description
- Develop non-destructive methodologies for measuring local reactivity of electrodes and conductivity of membranes at micron to millimeter scales.
- Conduct quantitative analysis using physics-based modeling.
- Perform physical characterizations of MEAs pre-assembly and post-mortem using techniques like Raman spectroscopy, SEM/EDX, etc.
- Collaborate with FEMTO-ST for sample and data exchange.
- Participate in project meetings, write scientific publications and reports, and supervise internship students.
