ExperienceFamiliarity with mammalian cell characterization; experience in immune cell culture; at least one significant achievement (publication, thesis, patent)

PreferencesExperience in immunology or biology fields; hands-on experience with self-assembling peptides; familiarity with omics analysis

Job Description:

This project aims to develop self-assembling peptide (SAP) biomaterials with properties that will enhance tissue adhesion, control degradation, and modulate immune responses for effective tendon regeneration.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and characterize new injectable SAP biomaterials
  • Investigate and evaluate macrophage polarization and immune signaling via functional assays and omics analyses
  • Analyze enzymatic degradation pathways of peptides and their biological roles
  • Utilize advanced imaging techniques for peptide-macrophage interactions
  • Supervise B.Sc./M.Sc./Ph.D. projects and contribute to teaching
