Research Area
The focus of this PhD project is on understanding how transposable element-derived regulatory elements contribute to gene expression divergence and adaptive responses in conifers.

Eligibility/Qualifications
- A completed degree equivalent to 240 ECTS credits, including at least 60 ECTS at the advanced level.
- 90 ECTS in relevant subjects, with at least 15 ECTS directly related to the research topic.
- Knowledge of English, both written and spoken.
Job Description
The selected candidate will:
- Develop and implement experimental methods for functional validation of regulatory elements in conifers.
- Conduct molecular biology experiments, including nucleic acid extraction and sequencing.
- Generate and analyze genome-wide datasets.
- Publish and present research findings.
