Eligibility/Qualification:
- Required Degree: Terminal degree (PhD) in microbiology, immunology, biochemistry, molecular biology, bioinformatics, or a related field.
- Minimum Requirements:
- Experience with mouse models and microbiome research.
- Proficiency in molecular or cellular biology techniques.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with transcriptomics, metabolomics, and next-generation sequencing.

Job Description:
The Postdoctoral Scholar will:
- Design and conduct experiments elucidating the role of microbiome-derived bile acid metabolites in host physiology and disease.
- Perform and analyze studies involving mouse models, microbiome manipulation, tissue collection, and metabolic phenotyping.
- Execute microbiome, metabolomic, and transcriptomic analyses through sequencing and mass spectrometry.
- Integrate multi-omic datasets and collaborate on human clinical studies.
- Engage in molecular biology and cell culture experiments.
- Perform bioinformatic and statistical analyses, create data visualizations, prepare manuscripts, and present findings at scientific meetings.
