Eligibility/Qualification
- PhD in Physiotherapy, Movement Sciences, Rehabilitation Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Biomedical Sciences, or related disciplines.
- Strong interest and exposure to human movement analysis, biomechanics, and musculoskeletal health.
- Experience with motion analysis, wearable technologies, biomechanical data processing, or musculoskeletal modeling is an asset.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English; basic knowledge of Dutch is an asset.
Job Description
As a Jr Postdoctoral Researcher within the OA-CONNECT project, your responsibilities will include:
- Investigating the relationship between movement patterns, joint loading, and cartilage health in patients with knee osteoarthritis.
- Conducting laboratory-based motion analysis, medical imaging, and using wearable sensor technology.
- Coordinating clinical data collection and analyzing movement patterns and joint loading.
- Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team of clinicians, engineers, physiotherapists, and researchers.
- Contributing to the supervision of PhD and Master students.
- Disseminating findings through publications and presentations.
