Research & Teaching Areas
The successful candidate will focus on undergraduate education with the following expectations:
- Primary Teaching: Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry (both lecture and lab components).
- General Education: Teaching courses such as Human Nutrition.
- Research: Undergraduate research mentorship is expected if the position is extended beyond the initial one-year term.
Eligibility & Qualifications
- Education: A master’s degree in chemistry or a related field is required; a PhD in chemistry or a related field is preferred.

Job Description
As a Visiting Professor, you will be responsible for:
- Designing and teaching assigned courses using engaged learning practices.
- Mentoring students through academic advising and recruiting activities.
- Participating in departmental and faculty meetings, as well as campus and community activities.
- Supervising approximately 6 student teaching assistants per semester.
- Pursuing professional development opportunities.
