Eligibility & Qualifications

  • Required Degree: PhD / Thesis-based doctorate in Bio-engineering, Biotechnology, or an equivalent specialty.
  • Technical Skills: Strong interest in microbial biotechnology with the ambition to operate bioreactors at laboratory scale and collaborate closely with industry.
  • Communication: Fluency in English (both spoken and written reporting) is essential for working in an international context.
  • Collaboration: Willingness to work in an international cooperative environment.

Job Description

  • Assist in the laboratory-based development of microbial protein production processes.
  • Optimize growth conditions for microbial processes.
  • Improve overall process sustainability in collaboration with industrial partners.
  • Operate laboratory-scale bioreactors and conduct associated research.
  • Report clear technical findings and research updates in English.
