Eligibility/Qualification

Required:

  • A relevant Ph.D. degree in structural biology, chemical biology, or organic/medicinal chemistry.

Preferred:

  • Strong skills in RNA biology techniques, molecular biology, and biochemical methods.
  • Previous experience with RNA-seq data analysis, DNA-encoded library design and screening, and structure-based design.
  • High motivation, a strong academic track record, a high-impact publication list, a team-player mentality, and an interest in targeting the RNA world.
  • A willingness to learn new experimental techniques and methods.

Job Description

The appointed Postdoctoral Associate will join an ambitious, highly focused chemical biology laboratory dedicated to chemical probe and lead medicine development. You will contribute to advancements in annotating RNA structure and target RNA using small molecules to combat challenging diseases, including genetically defined ALS, dementia, and cancers. The lab is highly committed to your professional development, customizing a training plan and research project to help you meet your short-term and long-term career goals.
