Eligibility
To qualify for this position, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- A completed master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics.
- Extensive knowledge of structural (continuum) mechanics.
- Strong understanding of numerical methods, especially the Finite Element Method (FEM).
- Very good programming skills (e.g., in MATLAB).
- High proficiency in English and German, both written and spoken.
Scholarship Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Conducting research in Computational Engineering toward a doctoral degree.
- Supporting teaching activities at the Institute of Structural Analysis.
- Fulfilling necessary administrative tasks.
