Eligibility / Qualifications
- Academic Age: Must hold a doctoral degree granted between 30 September 2024 and 1 October 2026 (earlier dates accepted for maternity/paternity leave or non-academic contracts).
- Current Status: Candidates must not hold a permanent professorship, or have a habilitation or equivalent (Venia legendi).
- Disciplinary Fit: Applicants must propose a research project that ties in with a discipline represented at the University of Konstanz.
- Host Support: Applicants should contact a potential local host among the researchers at the university to ensure appropriate affiliation; department support strengthens the application.
- Desirable Skills: International experience in teaching or research and a strong interest in interdisciplinary topics.
Job Description & Responsibilities
- Research: Develop, implement, and lead an independent research project to build up your own research profile.
- Engagement: Participate actively in the regular weekly meetings (Jour Fixe) of the Zukunftskolleg and contribute to a vibrant team of interdisciplinary postdoctoral researchers.
- Residency: Maintain your primary place of residence in Konstanz or its immediate surroundings.
