Eligibility / Qualification
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: A PhD in Proteomics, Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a closely related field.
- Technical Experience: Proven hands-on experience in mass spectrometry–based proteomics and/or immunopeptidomics within clinical or translational research settings.
- Methodological Expertise: Demonstrated expertise in Data-Independent Acquisition (DIA), Parallel Reaction Monitoring (PRM), quantitative proteomics workflows, data normalization, and quality control strategies.
- Data Processing: Strong experience in processing and interpreting complex MS datasets.
- Scientific Output: A proven track record of peer-reviewed publications in relevant fields.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, multidisciplinary collaboration, and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in structural biology and cross-linking mass spectrometry (XL-MS).
- Familiarity with workflow automation and reproducible data analysis pipelines.
Job Description
As a Postdoctoral Researcher, you will play a central role in advancing state-of-the-art immunopeptidomics and proteomics workflows to identify, quantify, and validate clinically relevant targets for cancer immunotherapy and vaccine development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute mass spectrometry–based workflows for the identification and quantification of disease-associated antigens from clinical specimens.
- Develop, optimize, and implement DIA- and PRM-based proteomics methods.
- Perform quantitative data analysis, normalization, quality control, and statistical interpretation on proteomics datasets.
- Contribute to biomarker and antigen validation studies across diverse clinical cohorts.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary partners including clinicians, computational biologists, translational researchers, and industrial partners (including Princess Máxima Center and Oncode Accelerator).
- Drive method development, data interpretation, scientific manuscript preparation, and grant writing.
