Eligibility / Qualification
To be eligible for the NSF GRFP, an applicant must:
- Citizenship: Be a United States citizen, U.S. national, or permanent resident by the application deadline.

- First-year graduate students or second-year graduate students with no more than one completed academic year of full-time graduate study in an eligible program.

Scholarship Description
