Job Description
The successful candidate will join an active research group focusing on developmental biology and embryology. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting research within embryology with a focus on molecular mechanisms and cellular imaging.
- Applying and developing molecular biology assays (e.g., RNA sequencing, qPCR, gene expression analysis).
- Performing bioinformatics analyses on transcriptomic, genomic, or imaging data.
- Utilizing advanced microscopy techniques (e.g., confocal microscopy, live-cell imaging) to study embryonic development.
- Publishing scientific findings in leading international peer-reviewed journals.
- Contributing to collaborative projects, grant applications, and co-supervision of graduate students.
Eligibility & Qualifications
Applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered:
- Academic Degree: A PhD in Developmental Biology, Embryology, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, or a related field (completed or submitted before the appointment date).
- Technical Expertise: Strong documented background in molecular biology methods, microscopy/imaging techniques, and/or bioinformatics analysis.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
- Personal Qualities: High motivation, capacity for independent scientific work, and ability to collaborate effectively in an interdisciplinary, international research environment.
