Eligibility/Qualification–
Essential qualification(Eligibility):
Good academic record with M.Sc in Chemistry and Ph D in the field of application of NMR Spectroscopy, in Structural Chemistry/ Biophysics/ Structural Biology. Minimum 8 years of experience, after the doctoral research period, in the field of solution state NMR Spectroscopy.
Desirable qualifications:
The candidate should be able to acquire, process and interpret 1D, 2D and 3D NMR Spectra, should be able to determine the Structure of small molecules and bio-molecules from NMR data and should have experience in handling, and maintaining NMR Spectrometer, and software like Topspin, CCPN etc.

Online applications are invited from qualified candidates for the post of NMR Faculty in   the level of ​Associate Professor (Academic Level 13A) in the School of Chemical Sciences of  Mahatma Gandhi University , Kottayam, Kerala.                            Â
PAY BAND :As applicable for Associate Professor (Academic Level 13A) –Â Â Rationalized Entry Pay of Rs.1,31,400/-
Candidates shall remit an amount of Rs.5000/- as Registration Fee. SC/ST candidates need to remit Rs.2500/- only. Fee should be remitted only through online payment, the facility for which is provided in the on-line application form. Copy of the receipt shall be submitted along with the hard copy of the online application.

Hard copy of duly submitted online application along with true copies of all certificates/ documents (self attested) in proof of qualification, age, community, reservation, if any, experience, NOC, equivalency etc. shall be forwarded to the address given in Clause IV. 4 of the notification.
Candidates should apply online through the website www.facultyrecruitment.mgu.ac.in on or before August 20, 2024. Two hard copies of duly completed online application along with self attested true copies of all certificates and documents should reach office of the Deputy Registrar-II (Admn.), Mahatma Gandhi University, Priyadarsini Hills P.O, Kottayam686560 on or before August 27, 2024. Applicantsworking in Universities/ Government/Aided Colleges etc., should submit No Objection Certificate from their employer along with the hard copy of the application.
Applications of teachers working in private colleges coming under direct payment system shall be forwarded by the Principal to the respective Zonal Deputy Director of Collegiate Education, who in turn shall duly forward the application to the University.
Applicants who have obtained degrees from Universities / Institutions outside the State of Kerala should submit equivalence certificate issued by Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, Kerala.
