Eligibility/Qualification–

01	Mathematics	Ph.D. (completed or thesis submitted) in Mathematics (should be able to teach Linear Algebra and Graph Theory at M.Sc. level)

Job/Position Description-

The selected candidate may be paid a consolidated pay of Rs. 50,000/- per month as per the institute norms.

Electrical Engineering (EE)

Period of appointment: The appointment is for one semester only i.e. Autumn Semester 2024 w.e.f. 03.09.2024 to 06.12.2024 (Purely on a temporary / contractual basis).

Mathematics

Period of appointment: The appointment is from 17th Sept to 6th Dec 2024 (Purely on a temporary basis/ Contractual basis).

How to Apply-

Interested candidates need to fill in the required data in the attached application form. The duly filled application form must be submitted in soft copy along with the scanned copies of original documents mentioned in the application form, published paper (if any) etc. for verification. The Interview will be conducted in online mode.
An incomplete form shall not be considered for shortlisting, and the criteria for shortlisting shall be as per the institute’s requirements and norms.
The duly filled application form should be sent to email id: hod.ma®nitm.ac.in. The subject of the email should be “Application for Guest faculty in Mathematics “. The last date to submit the application form via email is 31st August 2024 (5 pm).
The interview will be held tentatively on 4th Sept from 11:00 am.
Candidates must write the correct and valid email id in their application forms as all the correspondence will be through this email id only.
No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
The authority reserves the right of accepting/rejecting any or all the applications without assigning any reason thereof.
The position is temporary.
Candidates must be ready to join on 17th Sept 2024, if selected.

Electrical Engineering (EE)

The candidates must carry the duly filled original application form along with all the relevant original documents (with one set of Xerox copy) on the day of walk-in interview. The mode of Interview is Physical only and request for an online will not be entertained.
Incomplete application form shall not be considered for further process.

The subject of the email should be “Guest Faculty Post_candidate name_EE_2024.”

The walk-in interview will be held tentatively on 02^nd September, 2024 from 09:30 am onwards at Department of EE, NIT Meghalaya, Bijni Complex, Laitumkhrah, Shillong.
The candidates are required to attend the walk-in interview in the Department of EE.

No separate email/correspondence will be sent to the candidates for the above interview.

No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
