Project scientist in the integrated Quantum light sources project at IISc Bangalore, India

Designation: Project Scientist  

Project Title: Development of Quantum light sources integrated into photonic cavities. 

Essential Qualification: Ph.D. in Physics/Materials Science/Electrical Engineering. 

Preferred experience: Confocal microscopy, spectroscopy, and optical and optoelectronic device fabrication. Strong background in quantum Physics, quantum optics, and EM theory is preferable. 

Age: 25 to 35 years  

Remuneration: The Salary will be fixed within INR  65000-80000 / per month (consolidated) based on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and suitability. The position is full-time, temporary, and contractual. 

Job Location: Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore.  

Job description: 

Fabrication of quantum emitters and their integration into photonic cavities, optical measurements on cavity-integrated quantum emitters including microscopy and spectroscopy. 

Selection Process: Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed to determine their suitability for this research. Short-listed candidates will be called for an online interview.
