About- Applications are invited from Indian nationals for the following positions in the research project entitled “Design of S- and X- Band High Power Microwave Source- Relativistic Backward Wave Oscillator (RBWO)” sponsored by the Defence Research & Development Organization (DRDO), through the DRDO Industry Academia (DIA) collaboration, Ministry of Defence, Government of India, New Delhi. 1. Eligibility/Qualification:
Qualification for RA-II:
Essential qualifications: Masters with 3 years’ experience sensing device design and at least 1 publication in SCI/SCIE journals or Ph.D. in relevant branch.
Desirable qualifications/experience: Candidates with experience in the sensing device design would be preferred.
Qualification for SRF:
Essential qualifications: B.Tech./M.Tech. in the relevant branch with 2 years experience.
Desirable qualifications/experience: Candidates with experience in the sensing device design would be preferred.
Job Description:
Applications are invited for the posts of one RA-II and one SRF at a fixed Stipend/Fellowship/Salary amount of Rs. 61 ,000/- p.m. + HRA as per rule and Rs 42000/- pm + 18% HRA as per rule for approximately 6 months to 1 year in a DST sponsored project (under BDTD Scheme) entitled “Development of a multiplex portable spinning disc for effective monitoring of women’s health during different stages of pregnancy”. The post is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. The fellows selected under this project may be required to undertake components of research at IIT (BHU). The candidate should possess essential qualifications. The upper age limit for SRF and RA-II are 35 and 40 years (relaxable for 5 years for SC/ST/Physically Challenged/Female candidates and 3 years for OBC NCL).
All other factors being equal, SC/ST candidates will be preferred as per GOI rules.
