Job Description:

Multiple PhD and Postdoc Positions – Machine Learning and Chemistry in Polymer Materials

The research group aims to develop data-driven strategies for designing polymer materials with real-world applications. The projects will focus on three main research pillars: novel inductive biases, human-in-the-loop active learning, and novel learning paradigms. The group will develop open-source software, contribute to international research data initiatives, and collaborate closely with leading experimental partners for validation and modeling. The Postdoc position will specifically involve research data management and the use of novel tools in this context.

How to Apply: Interested candidates are requested to apply by sending the following documents via email:

  • Detailed curriculum vitae (CV)
  • Cover letter expressing interest and motivation
  • Contact information of references (for Ph.D. positions)
  • Copy of relevant degrees/certificates

Please send your application to Kevin Maik Jablonka at kevin.jablonka@uni-jena.de.

Last Date for Apply: The positions will remain open until filled.
