Eligibility/Qualification: Candidates must have a Ph.D. in chemistry or be in the final stages of completing their doctoral thesis before the application deadline. We are looking for individuals with the following qualifications:
- Strong background in synthetic chemistry and organometallic chemistry.
- Experience in mechanistic investigations and/or kinetic studies.
- Proficiency in air-sensitive techniques and analytical tools.
- Highly motivated, creative, and capable of working independently.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and management skills.
- Reliability in meeting commitments and deadlines.
Job Description: As a Postdoctoral Researcher at ICIQ, you will be part of Prof. Mónica H. Pérez-Temprano’s group and contribute to the development of novel first-row transition metal redox catalysis. Your responsibilities will include:
- Synthesizing and characterizing organometallic complexes and organic molecules.
- Conducting mechanistic studies using a wide range of analytic techniques.
- Writing laboratory reports and preparing manuscripts for scientific publications.
- Mentoring Ph.D. students within the research group.
- Maintaining laboratory equipment.
- Participating in national and international conferences to present research findings.
