Group Leader (f/m/d): The Leibniz Institute of Plant Genetics and Crop Plant Research is seeking a highly qualified Group Leader in the field of ‘Genetics of environmental adaptation’ for crop plants. The research will focus on molecular genetics/genomics of environmental adaptation in crop plants of temperate zones, addressing innovative questions in biotic/abiotic adaptation using molecular genetic/genomic, cell biological, and physiological approaches.

Eligibility/Qualification:
- Highly qualified scientist with an excellent scientific track record.

- Competence in the supervision of students/early career scientists/technical staff.
- Experience in interdisciplinary interaction and cooperation.
- Demonstrated fundraising skills.
