About- National Institute of Technology, Warangal, formerly Regional Engineering College, was established in 1959. Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru laid the foundation stone for this institute on October 10, 1959, the first in the chain of 30 NITs (formerly known as RECs) in the country. Alumni of the institute have spaced both length and breadth worldwide and occupy noble positions in the industry and academia.

Eligibility/Qualification–
Essential qualifications:
⮚ | First class at UG and PG Levels. |
⮚ | UG Level: BTech/BE in Electrical Engineering/ Electrical & Electronics Engineering/ Electrical power Engineering |
⮚ | PG Level: M.Tech/ M.E. in Electrical Engineering with specialization in Power Systems Engineering, Power Electronics and Drives, Smart Electric Grid or allied Specializations |
⮚ | Ph.D in Electrical Engineering is preferred. |
Job/Position Description-
AD-HOC FACULTY POSITIONS FOR THE ODD SEMESTER OF ACADEMIC YEAR 2022-23
Applications are invited for Ad-hoc Faculty positions purely on temporary basis in the Department of Electrical Engineering of NIT, Warangal.
Pay package: Rs.60,000/- PM for Ph.D. holders and Rs.50,000/-PM for MTech. holders.
How to Apply-
Applications in the prescribed format (enclosed) with scanned copies of certificates (in a single pdf), should reach the Head of the Department, Department of Electrical Engineering, NIT Warangal on or before 21st December, 2022 by e-mail. The e-mail address of the HOD is eee_hod@nitw.ac.in. The currently working candidates should submit the No Objection Certificate (NOC) along with the Application OR at the time interview.
Names of the short-listed candidates will be displayed on the Institute website by 24th December, 2022, and interview will be held on 02nd January, 2023. No separate call letter will be sent to the candidates.
The short-listed candidates are required to attend an interview on 02nd January, 2023 in the office of the Head, Department of Electrical Engineering. However, candidates may be considered to attend online interview on case to case basis. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. Initially, the appointment will be made for one semester and based on the performance, it will likely be extended by one more semester. Selected candidates are required to join immediately.
