Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Pune, an institute of national importance, established by an Act of Parliament, under Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India under Public-Private-Partnership (PPP) mode invites applications from well qualified and strongly motivated candidates with passion towards research and academics, to work as Assistant Professor (on Contract) purely on temporary basis, for a period of eleven months in the area of Electronics and Communication Engineering.

Eligibility/Qualification–
For Computer Science & Engineering (CSE)
- M.Tech. in Computer Science & Engineering or an equivalent discipline.
- First Class or equivalent grade in both Graduation and M.Tech.
For Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE)
- Ph.D. (Awarded or Thesis Submitted) in the relevant or equivalent discipline.
- First Class in all preceding degrees.
Desirable Qualifications
- Minimum one year of teaching, research, or industry experience.
- Candidates with Ph.D. from IITs, NITs, IIITs, INIs, or other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs) will be preferred.
- Candidates with higher qualifications and an excellent academic record will receive preference.

- Teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
- Conducting academic and research activities.
- Supervising student projects and research work.
- Performing departmental administrative responsibilities.
- Organizing and participating in student development activities.
- Carrying out any additional responsibilities assigned by the Dean or Head of Department.
Salary
- ₹1,00,000 per month – Ph.D. holders (including candidates who have submitted their Ph.D. thesis as per institute norms).
- ₹75,000 per month – Non-Ph.D. holders.
Selection Process
The recruitment process consists of:
- Shortlisting of applications.
- Personal Interview before the Selection Committee.

- Final selection based on interview performance.
