IIT Mandi is inviting online applications for faculty positions at the level of Assistant Professor Grade-I & Grade-II in the School of Mathematical & Statistical Sciences (SMSS). The positions are available in various research areas, including Theoretical Computer Science, Algorithms, Database Systems, Statistics, Scientific Computing, Machine Learning/Data Science, and Cryptography. Preference will be given to candidates with a Mathematics and Statistics background, although exceptional candidates in other research areas will also be considered. Applicants should have a passion for teaching, exceptional motivation, and an established record of high-quality research. IIT Mandi fosters an interdisciplinary culture, allowing faculty members to collaborate with colleagues from other areas of engineering, basic sciences, humanities, and social sciences. Job Description:

Conduct high-quality teaching and research in the designated research areas.
