About- Translational Health Science and Technology Institute (THSTI) is an autonomous institute of the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India. THSTI is a part of the interdisciplinary Biotechnology Science Cluster at Faridabad, Haryana in the National Capital Region (NCR). The institution is a dynamic enterprise with a mission to conduct innovative translational research and to develop research collaborations across disciplines and professions to translate concepts into products to improve human health.

Eligibility/Qualification–

Associate Professor   One post (1 UR) Level 13 of the pay matrix (Rs 1,23,100- 2,15,900/-) i.   Age limit for direct recruitment: 50 years	For Direct Recruitment:  Essential: MD (or equivalent) OR Ph.D in Life Sciences/ Medical Sciences / Chemical Sciences / Engineering or equivalent with original work as evidenced by patents or publications with at least eight years’ of R & D experience.   For Deputation:  Scientists of the Central Govt./ State Govt./ Universities/ Public Sector Undertakings or Govt. funded research organizations/ institutes
ii. Age limit for deputation: 56 years	subject to fulfilment of the following conditions: – (a) (i) Holding analogous post on regular basis in parent cadre or, (ii) With five years regular service in the Pay Level-12   in the relevant field (b) Possessing the qualifications prescribed for direct recruits.    Desirable: Since THSTI is involved in designing new therapeutics with a focus on translational research, experience in drug discovery, pharmacology and medicinal chemistry is desirable.

    • Forwarding letter / NOC from the current employer to candidates working in Govt. / PSUs / autonomous bodies
